When using QuickRec for the first time or after updating the app, I recommend customizing the settings in the Preferences section for an optimized recording experience. It is also advisable to conduct a test recording of approximately 10-60 seconds to ensure quality.

The file size and recording quality can be adjusted by modifying the SampleRate and BitRate settings in the Preferences. A lower value will result in a smaller file size but lower recording quality, while a higher value will increase the file size and provide higher-quality recordings.

For stable recording, it is recommended to turn off power saving mode. The steps to do so may vary slightly depending on your device: go to Settings, then Device maintenance, Battery, Unmonitored apps, and add QuickRec to the list.

The recorded files are stored in the following location: [Internal storage]/Download/com.shinshow.quickrec. Please note that this location may differ for Galaxy series users, as recordings are stored in the internal memory.
